• Listing information — car details, photos, and pricing you submit when creating a listing
• Message content — inquiries and messages exchanged between buyers and sellers on the platform
• Usage data — pages visited, search queries, listing views, and device/browser information
• Payment information — transaction records processed via PayMongo (we do not store card numbers or e-wallet credentials)

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your listings to potential buyers
• Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers
• Process subscription payments and listing boosts
• Improve our search and recommendation features
• Send you important account and platform notifications
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity
• Comply with legal obligations under Philippine law

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• With other users — your display name, city, and listing details are visible to other users as part of normal platform use
• Service providers — we use Supabase (database and authentication), PayMongo (payments), and Groq (AI search). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements
• Legal compliance — we may disclose data when required by Philippine law, court order, or government authority
• Business transfer — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the new entity

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as payment records).

As a data subject under RA 10173, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data we hold
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Object — object to the processing of your data for specific purposes

We use cookies to remember your preferences (such as dark mode and layout settings) and to keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of CarGPT.ph may not work correctly.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and role-based access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and to report any security concerns to support@cargpt.ph.

CarGPT.ph is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of CarGPT.ph after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
